Cloud Computing is the new industry buzzword, but is misunderstood by many. When services are “in the cloud”, they are hosted in remote, secured data centers accessible via the Internet. The benefit is that a company does not have to build out their own datacenter or procure servers and other network components, thus saving capital expenses; instead, the business is charged a low monthly fee for the services they need.
